Where to dive in Hawaii?

My wife and I are planning a trip to Hawaii. We will likely go to Maui and Kauai. Any suggestions about where to go/where to avoid? Thanks!

Here are some suggestions:
Maui
Do Molokini Crater, and Coral Gardens. Other very cool non-diving things are Haleakala Nat Park (ride the bicycle down the mountain after watching sunrise on top)
Kauai

I've asked my brother, Andy, in Atlanta to opine. He's a dive instructor and lived in Hawaii for 3 years. I did too but was not a diver at the time. Le'ts see what he comes up with.
My wife and I are planning a trip to Hawaii at the end of Feburary. We will likely go to Maui and Kauai. Any suggestions about where to go/where to avoid at that time of year (or on those two islands)?
